Vittorio Moretti started the Grupo Terra Moretti wine business in 1977 as a hobby that he was passionate about. From the small vineyard attached to his hotel, L’Albereta, he started off making wines only for his friends and family, before continuing his quest to perfect the art of sparkling wines by researching the region of Champagne in France and studying under a renowned oenologist. From there on in the Terra Moretti Group has grown and grown and now boasts 2 wineries in Franciacorta – Bellavista and Contadi Castaldi.
