Viva L' Italia A spot of afternoon tea is the perfect way to while away the hours after a long day's shopping or sightseeing, and the Brunello Bar & Restaurant at Baglioni Hotel London is ideally located for this purpose. In fact, it's opposite Kensington Gardens and just a stone's throw away from the Natural History Museum and the Royal Albert Hall.

You may be in one of the most iconic areas of London, but Baglioni Hotel transports you straight to Italy, with its glamorous interior and comfortable chairs that you can sink into.

The Afternoon Tea with an Italian Twist features a selection of finger sandwiches including sundried tomato & ricotta, oak smoked salmon & cream cheese, chicken & mayonnaise, focaccia with bresaola & stracciatella and egg, rocket & mayonnaise.

Scones are sublime: light, fluffy and with a choice of strawberry jam, clotted cream and of course, that obligatory Italian staple, Nutella.

Guests can choose from an accompanying glass of Moet & Chandon Champagne or Prosecco to enjoy as well as an extensive selection of loose-leaf or herbal teas and of course, it wouldn't be complete without Italian treats including Tiramisu, Baci di Dama, 'Lady's Kisses' and chocolate sfogliatelle napoletane (flaky pastry filled with sweetened ricotta).

So if you need a little afternoon 'pick-me-up', or, in Italian, 'tiramisu', Brunello Restaurant at Baglioni Hotel is the place to go.
