The Idle Rocks in St Mawes, will re-open for 2020 on 12 February with new Head Chef, Dorian Janmaat, following a season closure.
The Relais & Chateaux property located on the harbour-front of the picturesque, cobble-stoned fishing port is an idyllic spring getaway and a favourite British holiday destination. The rugged, romantic coasts of Cornwall are synonymous with surfing, pasties and Poldark as well as lesser known walks and gardens such as the Lost Gardens of Heligan.
Chef Dorian Janmaat will return to his home county of Cornwall following eight years at Raymond Blanc’s two-star restaurant, Le Manoir aux Quat ‘Saisons, bringing a host of new exciting dishes to the restaurant, which champions the freshest local ingredients and produce.
Three new packages have been designed to welcome guests to experience a staycation in picturesque southern Cornwall and sample the flavours from Chef Dorian’s newly created à la carte menu.
